Our Visiting Hours

Visiting Hours

We encourage visiting by family and friends.  Following are regular visiting hours.   

General hospital visiting hours: 

  • 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
  • Children may visit most patient care units,  if accompanied by an adult.  

Medical, Surgical Units and Pediatrics:

  • 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Special care areas*: 

  • Coronary Care Unit – 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
  • Surgical Intensive Care Unit – 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
  • Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit – flexible visiting hours at the discretion of nursing staff, limit of two visitors per patient at one time.
  • Medical Intensive Care Unit – flexible visiting hours at the discretion of nursing staff.  
  • Maternity 
    • 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. 
    • Visits by children are restricted to siblings or other children of the patient.
  • Adult Psychiatric Unit 
    • 6 to 8 p.m. weekdays. 
    • 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. weekends and holidays.
  • Children’s Psychiatric Emergency Services 
    • Parents and Guardians may visit
    • 5:30 to 7 p.m. weekdays and
    • 3 to 5:30 p.m and 6 to 7 p.m. weekends and holidays.
