Families and other members also attend a weekly family support group.

Located at 646 George St. in New Haven, click here for directions, the Child & Adolescent Day Hospital helps the family plan and prepare for discharge by securing ongoing therapy and community services, and also acts as a liaison with the school and other social supports.

Contact:  Jennifer Barba, LCSW, Director Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services at (203) 789-3340 or email: jbarba@srhs.org, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  At all other times or in an emergency, please contact the unit at (203) 789-3633.
