Information and Restrictions

For your convenience, you can place orders for gifts and flowers online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Online gift purchases will be delivered to patients Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Orders received after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, and orders received Saturday and Sunday will be delivered on Monday.

Simply pick the gift for the patient and a volunteer will personally deliver it anywhere within the Hospital*, free of charge.

If the patient has been released or can’t receive your gift for any medical reason, you will be notified via e-mail and the amount of your purchase will be credited to your card. If a patient is in surgery and has not been assigned a room, we will deliver the gift at the earliest opportunity after a room assignment has been made.

You may want to check with Patient Information at (203) 789-3475 to be sure the recipient will still be a patient during that timeframe. Patients on certain intensive care units may not receive gifts.

*At this time, gifts cannot be delivered outside the Hospital.
