AHPBA/SSAT/SSO Consensus Conference on Multidisciplinary Treatment of Hepatocellular Carcinoma

The Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT) is co-sponsoring with the American Hepato Pancreato Biliary Association and the Society of Surgical Oncology, Inc. the AHPBA/SSAT/SSO Consensus Conference on Multidisciplinary Treatment of Hepatocellular Carcinoma. The goal of the conference is to address knowledge gaps in the areas surrounding the preparation of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma for surgery, optimal methods to control hepatocellular carcinoma while awaiting liver transplantation, and developing a multidisciplinary approach to these patients with the implementation of novel systemic therapies.
Scott Helton, M.D. FACS, Chairman of Saint Raphael’s Surgery Department and current President of AHPBA is the opening speaker for this CME event.
