The first of its kind in Connecticut, Smiles
to Go! is a mobile dental clinic on wheels that travels to
elementary schools and
other locations throughout the city to
provide basic dental care to those in need.
The 40-foot clinic-on-wheels is staffed by a pediatric dentist
and hygienist, and features two examination/treatment rooms
for basic dental services, including routine cavity repair.
Studies have shown that good dental care is essential for overall
health and well-being. Lack of dental care can lead to other
serious health problems.
