The National Quality of Life Study is being conducted by a research
division of the American Cancer Society. Enrollment begins in the
first year of survivorship from common cancers and extends into the
tenth year. The purpose of this study is to determine the long-term
needs of patients and to learn about factors that determine good
survivorship and about the quality of their lives. The accrual target:
for this study is 100,000 cancer survivors nationally, with approximately
3,000 cancer survivors enrolled from CT.
