Beth Wilson, Pharm.D.
Beth Wilson, Pharm.D., has worked with oncology patients in the HOIT Unit for since 2000. As the unit’s
Oncology pharmacist, Wilson reviews physicians’ orders, verifies appropriate dosages and acts
as a resource to hospital staff with drug information questions. She also offers continuing education to HOIT
unit staff members and acts as a consultant to patients on drug therapies.
Wilson received her pharmaceutical training at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied
Health Sciences in Boston. She is an adjunct professor of pharmacy practice at the University of
Connecticut, and a member of the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists and the American
College of Clinical Pharmacology. Wilson serves as a member of the hospital’s Pharmacy and
Therapeutics Committee, and Nutrition Support Committee. She is also a lecturer for chemotherapy
certification courses and in Saint Raphael’s TakeHeart Program.
