Hematology/Oncology Infusion Therapy (HOIT) Unit
The Hematology/Oncology Infusion Therapy (HOIT) Unit offers sophisticated
chemotherapy services, blood product transfusions as well as other types of
treatment to outpatients and Saint Raphael inpatients. The HOIT Unit treats
about 20 patients daily, and has 17 treatment areas and two private
examination rooms.
Medications are prepared, stored and administered with the highest level of
quality control possible in conjunction with the pharmacy staff and the Blood
Bank, enabling our team of medical oncology experts to deliver these complex,
intense treatments in the safest way.
