The Hospital of Saint Raphael has long been committed to providing an outstanding

About our program
Yale University School of Medicine has recognized the Hospital of

Electives
A clerkship session lasts four weeks, during which students work in their chosen
elective. Saint Raphael offers 10 electives to choose from.
How to apply
To apply for the Internal Medicine Clerkship:

You must complete the clerkship application, click here. You may submit it
online or via post.

You must submit the following information via post:
- verification of malpractice insurance with 1 million/3 million limits;
- Copies of USMLE scores; and
- Verification of a physical and required immunization: Tuberculosis (PPD),
Hepatitis B, Rubella, Measles and Varicella-Zoster. (Students should report
history of chicken pox, shingles illness or a Varicella-Zoster antibody titer
status.)

Your medical school's Dean or clerkship director must submit verification of your
current standing. Click here to download and print out the mandatory Statement to
Resident Education Program.
