The Administrative Fellowship is a one-year management experience that allows fellows to apply specific graduate study principles in the practical work setting of a community teaching hospital. The teaching environment at Saint Raphael's, with its wide range of ambulatory and acute care, provides the basis for a fine fellowship experience. Our senior executives and medical staff are committed to helping you reach your full potential.
Program Scope
Fellows work/rotate among key hospital and outpatient areas to obtain an applied understanding of their dynamics. Fellows develop a firm foundation and understanding of the varied non-technical and professional skills that must be successfully integrated to provide quality services in any healthcare setting.
To achieve a balance of experiences, fellows may rotate among the following areas: clinical operations, finance, human resources administration, patient services, planning and business development, medical affairs, information services, corporate affairs, legal services and hospital operations. During the program, fellows may work either on specific projects or in established job positions. However, a purposeful combination of these two roles is intended to maximize fellows' experience.
