With its specially trained cardiac nursing staff, this unit cares for patients who are acutely ill or injured and are in varying stages of recovery from diagnostic, therapeutic or surgical interventions.
Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit

After undergoing surgery for cardiothoracic procedures such as coronary bypass or valve replacement, patients receive intensive care in this unit, staffed by specially trained nurses.
Cardiothoracic Step-Down Unit

This 32-be unit is staffed by board certified thoracic surgeons, house officers, and physician assistants, as well as nurses who specialize in post-surgical care of patients who've undergone cardiothoracic surgery.
Coronary Care Unit

This unit has 21 beds. Care is provided by a team of board-certified cardiologists, house staff, and nurses certified in critical care.
