Caring for our community is a large part of Saint Raphael's mission. And we demonstrate that caring in many ways. Here are just a few: 

• Parish Nurses - working with community health resources
• School-Based Health Centers - The Hospital of Saint Raphael has two New Haven school-based health centers located at Troup Magnet Academy of Sciences and Barnard Environmental Magnet School.
• Project Brotherhood - cancer prevention, education and screening for men
• Project Eldercare - bringing health services home for seniors
• Project MotherCare - our community health clinics serving women and children
• Sister to Sister - reaching out to African American women to help stop breast cancer
• Smiles to Go! - Saint Raphael's dental clinic on wheels
• The HOPE Program - helping women move from welfare to work 
• WIC - for women and children in need
