Bereavement Support

Bereavement support programs are intended as a source of strength and hope for adults coping with bereavement following the death of a loved one. Seminars and support groups offer unique healing benefits, different from those offered in individual psychotherapy.

Our programs and services are non-denominational. All are welcome, regardless of religious affiliation or belief system. Bereavement programs and services are offered free-of-charge. Donations are welcomed.

Hear what participants had to say:

"I learned my thoughts and feelings are not crazy, but normal and healing."

"It helps to know I am not alone in my journey through grief."

"I came in despair but leave glimpsing hope."

Directions

Groups, programs and bereavement counseling are offered by Chaplain Lisa Irish, M.Ed., M.A.  Lisa's training as a chaplain combines with 25 years of teaching and ministry experience. Her understanding of the grief process supports individuals and groups as they explore their feelings and their unique experience of loss.

Programs are generally held in the Selina Lewis Building, Hospital of Saint Raphael.
Free parking is generally available near the meeting room at the Father McGivney Center for Cancer Care. Dates and times of these programs vary throughout the year.
